When the day blurs together

A newborn’s day can have a lot of feeds and very little uninterrupted sleep. A feeding log gives you somewhere to put the time and details while they’re fresh, instead of trying to remember everything later.

Milksy records bottles and breastfeeding as separate entries in one chronological feed. You can look back through the day without switching between separate notebooks or apps.

Different feeds, useful details

For a bottle, save the amount in millilitres and the time. For breastfeeding, use the left/right nursing timer and save the session. Nursing duration and bottle volume are different measurements; Milksy keeps that distinction clear.

  1. Open the Plus menu and choose Bottle or Breastfeed.
  2. Record the bottle amount, or start the nursing timer.
  3. Save the feed and find it in Today.

Look back, without turning it into a target

Trends bring together feeding counts, bottle volume and nursing duration. Rhythm cards describe intervals in your recent logs. They help you understand the records you entered; they do not predict what your baby will need next.

Use the log as a record you can refer to. Milksy is a logging tool, not medical advice or a feeding schedule.

Keep handovers simple

When another parent takes over, a shared feeding log can answer the practical questions: what happened, when, and how much? Invite your partner through iCloud to synchronize your baby’s activity using Apple CloudKit.

Can I track both bottles and breastfeeding?

Yes. Milksy records bottle feeds and breastfeeding sessions in the same daily timeline, with bottle amounts and left/right nursing duration.

Can I correct an earlier feed?

Yes. Existing feeding entries can be edited, including their time, bottle amount or breastfeeding durations.

Is this a newborn tracking app?

Milksy can be used to keep a newborn feeding log. It records activity and shows patterns from your entries; it does not assess health or prescribe feeding amounts.
